Taiyo Denki Kenkyusho (current-day Horizon) founded by Hachiro Hori in Kyoto for the purposes of trial manufacturing and repairing electrical equipment.

We create the world’s first table-top binder (BB-S) and begin manufacturing folding, collating, and cutting devices.

Horizon brand officially established.
